All Speakeasy Bengal Kittens are veterinarian examined for general well being. They have been certified to be in good health, partially immunized against feline distemper, free of parasites (as shown by negative stool sample) with a stable temperament. As best that can be determined, free from genetic defects and / or congenital diseases (defects) which would affect this Bengal’s quality of life.

It is the Buyer's responsibility to have this Bengal examined by a veterinarian within 3 working days after adoption. This is your return health guarantee period. If there are other animals in the home, your new Bengal must be placed in a separate room for a period of 1-2 weeks after its arrival. If the Buyer's veterinarian finds your Bengal to have defects or a life-threatening problem, the Buyer must contact the Breeder immediately and provide the Veterinarian's written explanation of "Unsound Health" (to be defined as a condition which is life-threatening or incurable and shall not include curable conditions such as colds, viral or bacterial infections, or intestinal parasites). The Breeder will replace this Bengal with one of equal value as soon as a Bengal of that value is available or refund the full purchase price, at Breeder's option.

Breeder guarantees this Bengal for a period of one year from date of birth if it develops a life-threatening illness and/or hereditary/genetic or congenital defect which would affect this Bengal's quality of life. Should this Bengal be diagnosed with a "defect", the Breeder will replace this Bengal with a Bengal of comparable quality and value when available, after receiving vet explanation of condition or necropsy results. This time of replacement should not exceed 8 months, except under undue hardship or Acts of God, in which case the Buyer agrees to additional time to fulfill this provision. "NO CASH REFUNDS" after the 3 day return policy. The Breeder has the right to ask for this Bengal to be returned before Buyer receives a replacement. If the Buyer refuses a replacement the Breeder will have NO further obligation to the Buyer.

Speakeasy considers the health of our kittens to be our number ONE priority. We do all we can to decrease the likelihood of disease/illness in our kittens, such as FIP, leukemia, FIV, and upper respiratory infections. Even with preventative measures, vaccinations, HCM testing we are unable to eradicate disease 100% of the time. No cattery can guarantee this for you. What Speakeasy can guarantee is that we will be there for you to assist you deal with whatever important issues arise.
